tracked leader, led 3f out, ridden and headed over 2f out, weakened over 1f out
tracked leader, ridden over 4f out, weakened over 2f out
tracked leader, ridden and led over 2f out, wandered inside final furlong, driven and all out
slowly into stride, reminders early, held up, ridden to chase winner 2f out, stayed on final furlong, not pace to challenge
The step up in trip to seven furlongs should suit Magical Music, who gets the vote in this seller, with Goodbye Girl preferred to Bayhope among the remainder. The selection showed her best form when dropped to plating company for the first time at Chepstow last month when not disgraced behind good winner Wizby, staying on in the closing stages suggesting that a step up to today's distance would suit. Coffin Dodger is bred to appreciate middle distances so should improve for the longer trip and cannot be discounted along with the once-raced Blue Splendour, who represents connections that do well with their youngsters. More obvious claims are probably held by Goodbye Girl who takes a drop in class, but would prefer a softer surface, and Mark Wallace's Bayhope, who should step up on previous form now that he goes over further. Magical Music holds solid claims though and he gets the vote.
