Nice Tune looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to open her account and is taken to do so at the main expense of Blue Lullaby and County Clare. The selection is no world-beater but then the opposition here looks to be moderate at best and Clive Brittain's filly need only reproduce the form of her fourth behind Desert Imp at Newbury under similar conditions in a handicap two starts ago to win this. Heat Alert is unexposed after just two starts and has to be respected but needs to improve, while Love Me Tender has failed to live up to her pedigree and is becoming expensive to follow. More solid claims are probably held by Blue Lullaby and County Clare, who has only 5lbs to find with the selection on official ratings but has yet to prove her effectiveness over today's trip. Blue Lullaby showed improved form at Thirsk last time and has to be considered but Nice Tune has an obvious chance and gets the vote.
