Blue Empire might provide the answer in the seller, with others to get a mention being Feelin Irie and Viable. As you can imagine, a number of these horses are out of sorts or in decline. Blue Empire's credentials are that he was rated three pounds higher than today when scoring at Nottingham last summer. With Jamie Spencer booked to ride, Blue might be the colour today. Feelin Irie cannot be ruled out based on his best summer 2006 efforts, while Viable's best autumn form gives him a shout. Al Rayanah could be considered based on his course-and-distance form of last August, which came from a six-pounds higher mark than today, and Panshir is just two pounds above his course-and-distance winning mark of last August and, even though that came on soft, he cannot be ruled out of a good run. Finally, Pink Bay has at least been given a chance by the handicapper now and Marvin Gardens was third in this race last year from today's mark. For the selection, though, we will stick with Blue Empire.
