BOMBINA can confirm recent form with Act Green and gets the nod in this fillies' only handicap. Surprise Party and Chadwell Spring are others to bear in mind. Chadwell Spring won under a forceful ride at Lingfield 29 days ago and, as she has gone well at Yarmouth in the past, Julia Feilden's filly will be a big threat if she is in the same frame of mind today. However, she wouldn't want the ground to be much softer than the overnight description of good (good to soft in places). Act Green has the ability to go close at this level and shouldn't be underestimated. The daughter of Hafhd is versatile regarding the ground and she is fancied to give the selection the most to think about. However, Bombina readily had the edge the last time they met each other and, as she is more likely to be seen to better effect over this longer trip, Bombina gets the nod as the best option today.
