Verdict
Panning For Gold appears to have relished the switch to turf and the course and distance winner is a leading player in search of the hat-trick. This looks a better contest but he could well have more to come. He's definitely shortlisted but ROMAN DYNASTY was impressive at Nottingham at the end of last month and may follow up under his penalty, although he does face very different ground conditions here which does temper confidence somewhat. The likes of Chief's Will, Silver Screen and Lordsbridge Girl can all be given a fair chance in an open race and are preferred in that order, whilst course and distance scorer Almarin is another who can get involved. Check out Story Of Peace in the market as he's thoroughly unexposed and a line needs putting through his last run.
