In depth

Verdict

It's hard to make a strong case for those with experience to call upon as a major jolt of improvement looks required to land a maiden contest. Glandford and Goodeveningmrbond probably have the strongest form to date but it will be no surprise if one of the newcomers comes to the fore. The Haggas team is now more or less back in full flow, and Cover Point represents the team here and has to be respected along with the expensively-bought Eulace Peacock for Andrew Balding and a son of Dark Angel. However, the Gosden team has introduced some useful juveniles at the seaside track down the years and TCHAIKOVSKY, a son of Bated Breath, can add his name to the list.
