      Verdict

      Quite a number of these are in good heart at present and ZAFAAN is taken to follow up his first career success when sticking on stoutly to score at Doncaster. Well supported that day, he should have more to come on what is just a sixth career start and a second on the grass. This extra two furlongs is likely to suit and the claim of his talented pilot is an added bonus. Corporate Raider was a surprise scorer here last time according to the market following a series of modest efforts and is a contender if able to back up that much-improved effort. Barney's Angel is running well enough on the all-weather and now returns to turf for the first time in nearly a year, whilst the totally unexposed Dark Gold has to be checked in the market in case he's the latest in the line of Sir Mark Prescott handicap projects.
