Verdict

Just the 4lb between the quartet on official ratings and hard to see where the pace is going to come from as all have been held up in the past. Oriental Art stayed on steadily just four days ago when a fair Windsor third but his career record stands at 0-18. He's not ruled out as he usually runs his race and picks up regular prize money. Daniel Deronda stays much further than this so is a potential pace angle, but his last win came nearly two years ago. Bunker Bay's form in the second half of last year makes him the one to beat but he's disappointed considerably the last twice and was tailed off at Haydock last month. MY CHIQUITA (NAP) was also well below par last time but in a higher grade contest. She had been quite impressive in landing her two previous outings and is taken to return to form here.

Formwatch

My Chiquita 7-1 (8-12) Slowly into stride, off the pace in last pair, pushed along and outpaced over 3f out, ridden and beaten over 2f out, 6th of 7, 17 1/2l behind Mr Freedom (9-2) at Windsor 1m 3f hcp (4) gf in Jul.

Bunker Bay (IRE) 9-2 (9-11) Held up, raced wide on turn down far side, chased leaders 4f out, soon outpaced, gradually weakened, last of 8, 30 3/4l behind At Liberty (9-9) at Haydock 1m 2f hcp (5) gf in Jun.

Daniel Deronda 18-1 (9-4) Slowly into stride, soon in touch, in rear, never involved, 6th of 7, 6 3/4l behind Fulfilled (9-9) at Lingfield 1m 4f hcp (5) gf in Jun.

Oriental Art 5-1 (9-4) Held up in last pair, dropped to rear over 4f out, headway when not clearest of runs over 1f out, hung left and stayed on when in the clear inside final furlong, went never nearer 3rd towards finish, 3rd of 6, 1 3/4l behind Carp Kid (9-2) at Windsor 1m 2f hcp (5) gf in Jul.
