FUZZYPEG has been resoundly thrashed on all three starts in maidens but is a tentative selection in the hope that she can improve for the move into handicap company. Extremely So and Aaman are amongst others to consider in an open race. James Fanshawe has a decent record at this venue and it's to be hoped that his well bred filly can show a little more for this move into handicap company over a longer trip. There's been little sign that she possesses any of the ability of siblings Border Arrow and Baldaquin but she's been allotted a plater's mark and has the services of a talented apprentice. Aaman has proved rather disappointing in recent starts and may be better suited by a return to racing on Fibresand but he has won over two miles at Goodwood and the pick of last season's form gives him every chance in this company. Extremely So still has something to prove at this trip but she didn't run too badly over two miles here last time which was more encouraging and it would be no surprise to see her go well with Kieren Fallon on board for the first time but the nominal selection is Fuzzypeg.
