Softer ground is an imponderable but SOORAAH looks well ahead of the game at present and is readily preferred to Free As A Lark and Shesells Seashells. Sooraah is due to race from a 2lb higher mark in future having shown vastly improved form since being sent handicapping; she won with ease at Chepstow and Sandown for today's apprentice and is clearly progressing well with the only doubt being her ability to handle cut in the ground. Free As A Lark is closely matched with Shesells Seashells on their Yarmouth form when both were trained by Chris Wall. Shesells Seashells drops in trip having disappointed last time and the run may not have just been down to a lack of stamina but she may be worth another chance whilst Free As A Lark ran as well as can have been expected in the face of a stiff task at Lingfield and must be feared for a yard that took this last year. Kenyan Cat showed more last time, Wild Rockette and Zenarinda can't be dismissed but they may all be playing for second at best if the progressive Sooraah handles the ground.
