A tricky call with a number of unexposed runners from top yards in the line-up and a market check is advised. In the absence of that knowledge, JINTO gets the vote at this stage ahead of Jewellery and Converre. Clearly support for any of Top Tigress, Quick Deal and Tymora would be respected with Budding Daffodil another to keep an eye on but Jewellery has more obvious claims having chased home the useful Opera Gal at Warwick last time. Converre was nibbled at in the market at big prices and may well be able to improve on that run over this slightly longer trip on ground that should suit whilst the step up in trip and stronger handling may see Catbells go close. Broughtons Swinger was a beaten favourite here last time when behind Apache Kid and may be worth another chance but a chance is taken with Robert Cowell's runner. Jinto showed a modicum of ability as a juvenile but this full brother to the talented Holberg was never likely to realise his full potential until being stepped up in trip this season and it's worth taking the chance that he can improve significantly now granted a stiffer test.
