QUICK OFF THE MARK is our fancy ahead of Sotik Star and Tabulate. James Given's charge is rated some way ahead of these on artificial surfaces but this race is on turf and while it's dangerous to take readings literally, she has plenty more going for her than the others on balance. Sotik Star was a little disappointing at Wolverhampton but he shaped well for a long way given that it was his first run for four months. Tabulate has threatened to win low grade races but her losing run stretches to in excess of a year. Sion Hill is sure to be up there under his usual forceful ride. Maddy may appreciate this assignment a little more if the ground dries up whilst Big Fan Of That is now tried in tonguetie and blinkers in an attempt to glean any latent ability from him. Jellytot has won off much higher marks in the past so watch the market for any signs of confidence tonight. Quick Off The Mark is the selection in a race where plenty are devoid of hope.
