A good bumper for the time of year with Sexy Rexy, Mumbles Head, Spitfire Sortie and Fixed Interest the likely contenders with the vote going to the last named. Fixed Interest ran with great credit to finish third of thirteen beaten seven lengths at Wincanton on his racecourse debut. That form could be good enough to win this and conditions likely to suit is a horse to stay on the right side of. Sexy Rexy improved from its first two starts to finish an eye catching second around course and distance lat time out. Any further improvement will see him go close. The same can be said about Mumbles Head who won on his debut and was then highly tried at Cheltenham before running another fine race last time out so any market moves should be noted. The same can be said about Spitfire Sortie who travels down from Yorkshire and did win at Newcastle before being outclassed at Wetherby last time out. But for the winner we return to Fixed Interest.
