Now that Annie Fleetwood has sorted out her jumping issues she looks capable of following up her recent Fontwell win with further success back in novices' company, while Apollo Creed looks the danger. The selection acts well on a sound surface and enjoys a test of stamina. This is a step back up in trip following her 2m 4f win last time, but she can take advantage of how the weights are framed and win again. Apollo Creed has had jumping problems of his own when tried over fences earlier in the year and potential backers will be hoping that Nigel Twiston-Davies has managed to iron these out. The gelding has won twice since being switched back to hurdles, trip and ground suit, and it will be interesting to see how he fares. Bay Mouse won a conditionals' handicap chase earlier in the month and will get every yard of this half mile shorter trip, so he'd like a decent pace to make stamina more of an issue. Pebese hasn't shown a huge amount yet and needs to prove he acts on the ground and Bright Green, who has some reasonable form in defeat over fences, may be a better proposition. Annie Fleetwood is the one for us.
