In depth

Verdict

Bouncing King, Ashwell Lad and Harry's Lane are the three to consider here, with preference for Bouncing King. Harry's Lane ran well on his debut at Stratford, before disappointing on his next appearance which came on faster ground. The going will be more to his liking here and he should not be ruled out. Ashwell Lad showed varying form in bumpers, but ran well on his hurdling bow on his latest start. That run came on an easy surface and he too will appreciate the give in the ground here and can go well. Bouncing King has been placed on each of his starts to date and shaped well on his latest start in handicap grade. This looks an easier task and Bouncing King looks set to rule.
