Sharajan is selected to land division one of the bumper, with Blackergreen and newcomer Massimo others worth a mention. Plenty line up here but not too many have realistic chances, and Shrajan is the pick to get recent losses back. Alan King's charge was the subject of encouraging reports when sent off favourite at Uttoxeter on his debut, but could only finish fifth to Chapel Times. Nevertheless it was a pleasing performance, and he should be capable of improving enough to go one better. Mary Reveley generally has one or two useful bumper horses each season and Blackergreen, runner-up at Perth on his introduction just over three weeks ago, should have more to offer now as he was hampered early on at the Scottish track. Massimo could be anything in time and the market may tell if he is fancied first time, but Sharajan, a future chaser in the making, is the pick.
