Jivaty is taken to make amends for his last two defeats, with Hunting Yuppie, Jake The Jumper and Fromragstoriches out to stop him. Jivaty has been costly to follow lately, but probably failed to stay the trip at Newton Abbot recently, and was put in his place by Hunting Yuppie at Ludlow earlier. However, he now meets that rival on much better terms and so should turn the tables on Nigel Twiston-Davies' runner. Jake The Jumper had every chance when second at Wetherby and the slightly easier ground here should help as he bids to lose his his maiden tag. Fromragstoriches is out to atone for unseating his pilot in the same race, and as he was in front when departing at the ninth flight, it would be folly to discount his claims. Tony McCoy rides It's Definite for Peter Bowen but the champion's mount probably needs more experience, and if Jivaty sets off in the lead, he may go on to make all over a trip that should suit.
