In depth

Verdict

Not much form to work on and the market will provide further clues. Magic Dragon hails from a yard that does well in this type of event and offers the best public form after a highly promising effort when fourth, beaten five lengths, behind a useful yardstick in a similar heat at Ayr last month. Sure to have benefited from the experience, Magic Dragon looks the one to beat. Waimea showed respectable form first time out and is another to consider while My Whisper can be expected to leave the form of his initial start behind in due course. Paul Nicholls saddles an interesting newcomer in the shape of Monti Flyer who makes some appeal on breeding and wouldn't have to be out of the ordinary to feature in the finish.
