Another difficult race for punters and a tentative vote goes to Janiture with Mr Baxter Basics, Ashley Muck and Damus as the likely dangers. The Paul Nicholls-trained Janiture was a useful hurdler and appears to be progressing well over the larger obstacles with recent victories in a novice and in handicap-company at Plumpton and Wincanton respectively. The daughter of Turgeon remains on a fair mark and looks the type who can continue to progress this season so should give a good account under Ruby Walsh. Mr Baxter Basics is a game and consistent performer at this level and races off the same mark as when second in better company at Perth last time so clearly has to be respected. Ashley Muck has been knocking on the door in similar grade of late and looks a banker for the frame while Damus and Donadino are others to consider following solid recent efforts.
