Verdict
Saorsie comes in to this race in winning form and is taken to follow up under Shane Fox with Master T, Joely Green and Court Champagne as the dangers. The selection returned from a short break to score over course and distance last week and the manner of that easy victory suggests that the son of Emperor Jones can overcome a subsequent 6lb rise in the weights. Master T is an unexposed type who has shown plenty of ability to date and looks capable of better so could be well treated despite top weight and clearly has to be feared. Joely Green was pulled up last time over timber but has been in good form on the Flat and scored off a mark of 66 at Wolverhampton in February so can't be left out of calculations. Court Champagne put up a promising effort when second at Uttoxeter last time and is another to consider despite a subsequent 7lb rise.
