This won't take much winning and Hurricane Bay looks to have a fine chance to gain compensation for his narrow defeat here last month. Jonjo O'Neill's charge isn't the fastest animal on four legs, but he does stay well and will be at home on the fast ground. Fans of Die Fledermaus will be hoping for a bold show from Sam Adamson in the previous race. A winner off a mark of 102 last year, Die Fledermaus would appear to be well in here off a 16lbs lower mark. Southerndown, who had looked to have lost his way over fences, had a confidence booster last time over hurdles. Whether that will have done the trick, we shall have to wait and see. Dual-hurdles winner York Rite has plenty to prove over the larger obstacles, while Pangeran has always looked a non-stayer over this sort of trip. Peacemaker has a big turn around at the weights with Hurricane Bay on Wetherby running, but the latter is a confident choice to come out on top again.
