Another wide open affair in which many would have chances on their best form but the principals appear to be Gudladge, Royal Amaretto, and Code Sign and we will take a chance on Gudladge. The gelding from the Mick Easterby yard was in fine form last season and a reproduction of his latest second Dick Turpin would make him hard to beat. Royal Amaretto rates the main danger he was a fair second behind Feanor last time and although he has top weight he will not be far away with conditions in his favour. Kathakali won well over course and distance last time out but he will find this harder under his penalty. Code Sign would have a chance on his best form but he was disappointing last time out. Of the remainder Fundamental is from a shrewd yard and is worth a cautionary look in the market.
