A collection of moderate performers and the outcome could depend on whether My Retreat can overcome a six-month absence to take advantage of a sound chance at the weights. Ian Semple's charge would have had more to do if this were a handicap but the five-year-old's form had tailed off when last seen in action and he now has something to prove so is passed over on this occasion. Supreme Salutation was a major disappointment last time and seems out of sorts while Red Delirium, Royal Cascade and Sharpsport come here in top form but may struggle to contain Leonora Truce on these terms. Nick Littmoden's charge was well below her best last time but had previously run out an impressive seven-length winner in similar company here. A repeat performance should see her add to her trainer's fine course record and is handed the TEAMtalk vote.
