Grand Palace is taken to see off Tag Team and Lord Of The Reins. The selection has been in great nick over the last few months and while he has gone up the weights, a 4lb rise doesn't look harsh for a recent success at Lingfield Park and having shown an aptitude for this track, he wouldn't be too far away. Tag Team has placed over six furlongs with regularity but the assessor has had plenty of chances. Gilded Cove is a known back-runner and invariably looks unlucky as a result. Jilly Why has a bit of early dash but a poor draw to work from. Lord Of The Reins is another in form horse although again, punters will need him to glean plenty of luck in running. Strathmore ran a fair race last time out and is respected in the market. A good sprint in prospect and Grand Palace looks the percentage call in a wide open event.
