Kilt Rock may have been hiding his light under a bushel and is worth a market check but NEWBURY STREET is the percentage call with Agent Boo another holding an obvious chance. Newbury Street showed promise in his maidens and was well backed ahead of his handicap debut when just narrowly missing out at Yarmouth. He's 2lbs higher but his claimer takes off 3lbs so he's actually a pound better off and he holds leading claims. Blinkers worked the oracle for Agent Boo at Ayr and they need to have the same effect if he's to cope with a 6lb rise for that success whilst he shaped well enough on his sole run at the track. Nabrina performed creditably last time so is considered along with Pepper Lane but the unexposed Kilt Rock is of more interest. It's hard to assess the merit of his runs in maidens but they were strong enough races and he could be interesting. The market is likely to tell us but, for the time being, we'll stick with the proven claims of Newbury Street.
