MILLDOWN STORY may come out best of some reluctant heroes and no one could begrudge her victory after some consistent efforts. Turkish Locum and Hay Fever are others with claims on the book. Hay Fever is actually the highest rated in the field but he earnt that mark last year and has struggled this term. He wasn't beaten all that far in a handicap on his latest start and may respond to blinkers but he was badly outpaced last time. Turkish Lokum is another returning to maiden company and dropping to a trip which isn't certain to suit but she does have form claims. Catchpenny, Mrs Medley and She Goes Nowhere haven't had many chances but do need to improve which makes Milldown Story the percentage call. Rod Millman's charge has finished in the money on all bar one of her six career starts and looks well drawn for one who raced handily last time. She's clearly no star and has been dropped in the weights by the handicapper following each performance but Milldown Story should give her running and go close.
