This could turn out to be a duel between Bridgewater Boys and NEW ENGLAND, with preference for the latter. Another that can't be ruled out though is Diktatorship. New England looks the better of the two Brisbourne runners, the other being Buscador. Just as when beating Bridgewater Boys here last month he's got plenty in hand at the weights. Since that race over the same trip Bridgewater Boys has also been runner up on turf, but the polytrack is very much his surface. Diktatorship was third here over this trip a couple of months ago in a similar race, after spending much of the winter hurdling. Spanish Cross is an interesting runner, making her debut in the UK after coming over from Ireland. She's never lived up to expectations after once being bought for more than 100 thousand Euro, but last time changed hands for just two and a half thousand. One placing in six starts is hardly encouraging, and this is her polytrack debut. Any market confidence would be worth noting, but we'll side with New England.
