BALLET DANCER had a couple of runs last season, and first time out this could take this maiden, with the claims Frosted and Hisaronu also respected. Michael Jarvis' sole runner on the card has had a lay-off since disappointing when attempting to follow up a decent Doncaster debut. A good winter's schooling though could confirm the promise shown last October. Hisaronu steps up slightly in trip from debut at Yarmouth earlier this month, and connections think she's bred for a little further. She cost 16 thousand Euro as a yearling, and is the half-sister to several winners. She's entitled to improve from that first outing. Frosted is a stablemate of debutante Crimson Ribbon, and trainer John Gosden won the corresponding race last year with a very short-priced favourite. Ed Vaughan's got a near one in four strike rate here, and Hold The Star is his only runner on the card. As ever any market moves should be noted here, but we'll take a chance with Ballet Dancer.
