King Nicholas is taken to score here at the main expense of Yashin and Gay Romance. The selection put up a cracking effort last time when second behind Acomb on this track and with the extra furlong in his favour it will be a surprise if he is not involved in the frame at the finish. Yashin was disappointing last time but that was his first run after a break from the track and he would certainly hold claims on the pick of his form. Gay Romance is from a leading yard and is entitled to plenty of respect, but she is probably better over a shorter trip and she still has plenty to prove at present. Go Garuda and Sorbiesharry are others in decent form who look to have sound place prospects, but King Nicholas looks to have everything in his favour here and he is the one they all have to beat.
