Muzio Scevola did not take to hurdles this winter and looks to have been found a suitably weak opportunity to open his account on the level and is taken to do so at the main expense of Charlie Kennet and Freefall. The selection is no world-beater but this is a poor contest and a reproduction of the pick of his form last term may suffice. Charlie Kennett gave every impression that he would stay this trip in a similar contest at Southwell last time and rates the main danger. French import Liferaft makes her debut for Kevin Morgan and cannot be discounted. He is bred to appreciate this surface but the form of the Morgan yard is of some concern so a bigger threat may come from Freefall. Chris Dwyer's filly is strictly held by Gebora on running here at the beginning of the month but, not surprisingly, showed improved form when stepped up to today's trip subsequently. Blue Hills and Sunshine On Me are others worthy of a mention but Muzio Scevola holds obvious claims and gets the vote.
