The penultimate race on the card is a very competitive handicap and we feel BERNIX can go in ahead of Land Hawk and Goose Green. Bernix got his act together in a seller on his last start and now that he has got his head in front he may go in again. He has been raised 13 lbs for his last run and does not have Kieran Fallon in the plate today but we feel he may have turned a corner in his career and is worth following again. Land Hawk has quite a consistent look about him lately and his latest second was another solid effort. Today's assignment is a drop in class and with a good claimer booked he should go well from top weight. Goose Green usually takes the one run to get ready and he made a pleasing seasonal comeback at Lingfield. The handicapper has given Goose Green a chance judging on his win at Brighton last July where he absolutely hacked up. Willie Carson takes a further three off his back and should go close on a horse who has won over the course and distance. Others to keep an eye on are Aegean Dancer and Well Of Echoes.
