In depth
Verdict
The threatened jockeys boycott of this evening meeting has not stopped Arena Leisure from putting together a six-race card, and in the opener it is Outlook, the only booked ride of Seb Sanders, that gets the vote over Half Pint Bill and Lucys Lady. Sir Mark Prescott's juvenile, already successful twice here, including when getting the better of the useful Campbeltown in July, was beaten off topweight in a nursery here a fortnight ago and is now dropped back to six furlongs for what should be a return to the winner's enclosure in this company, especially with first-time blinkers fitted to galvanise the son of Observatory. Half Pint Bill was found a poor seller at Bath last time and needs to improve again to bustle up the selection, while the same applies to Lucys Lady, successful at Yarmouth. Basically this is there for the taking, and it will be a surprise if Outlook does not oblige.
