Violette has a solid chance on these terms and is preferred over Cimyla and Fusili. The last named has struggled with the handicapper this season and appears to need to drop a few more pounds in the rating before she can be seriously considered as reliable betting proposition. However, she does have a chance on these terms; so a market move would not be without foundations. Cimyla ran up a nice sequence for Chris Wall last season and is very capable on his day. However, he has a long absence to overcome and, although respected, it is safe to assume that he will be better for the run today. Therefore, we prefer to go with Violette who has taken on some top-class opponents during her time. The daughter of Observatory is unexposed at this trip and, as she fully deserves a change of fortune, Sir Mark Prescott's filly is given another chance to prove herself today.
