Cerulean Rose is selected in preference to Moon Forest and Inka Dancer, while Elusive Warrior is also worth noting in the betting. The last named is bred to appreciate an artificial surface and, from the foot of the handicap, could still be well treated on these terms. Jamie Moriarty takes a handy 5lb off his back with his claims and the partnership are worth considering for an each-way touch (if the prices permit.) Inka Dancer dropped to a very attractive mark towards the end of the turn campaign and started to reflect some of the promise he showed earlier in his career. This track does present a new challenge for him, though, and he may just benefit from the experience today. Moon Forest, on the other hand, has plenty of Wolverhampton form to his name and can be relied upon to act on the Polytrack. The trip is the issue with him and, as his supporters will be gambling on whether he truly has the speed to cope with some of the faster individuals in this line up. The main one of those being Cerulean Rose, who has been a consistently reliable performer over the years. Like a few of the others, the Tony Carroll-trained mare is unexposed on the All Weather but she does possess a turn of foot on her day and will be hard to peg back if she rises to the bait this afternoon.
