Eastern Magic ran on well last time after being slowly in to stride so with a better start here could be in with a chance, but POINT OUT gets the nod in this race with Gwenllian also having potential to battle it out for the victory. Point Out has run well to finish runner up twice in his first two outings. The pedigree is very good and would suggest a mile is the perfect trip for John Gosden's three-year-old. There should be plenty more to come and assuming natural progression since he last appeared in March then he looks the pick of the field. Eastern Magic may be able to get a better result than a recent fourth at Leicester. His father is also the sire of recent Prince of Wales' Stakes runner-up Twice Over and there may be some hidden magic waiting to be shown so Eastern Magic remains firmly in calculations. Ian Williams' filly Gwenllian is worth taking note of after showing that she had developed in the intervening period between debut last year at Doncaster and a more recent run at this course. She may have come on again and stands a chance. We point to Point Out to be victorious.
