From a shortlist of Irish Music, Almaty Express, Bentley and YANZA, it is the last-named who is narrowly preferred. Jeremy Gask's daughter of Bahamian Bounty comes here on the back of just a modest effort behind Forever's Girl last month. However the handicapper has dropped her two more pounds in the handicap as a result and despite her wide draw she is expected to run well. Bentley was a winner at the track earlier in the month and although he attracted no interest in the subsequent auction, it would be no surprise to see him run well again from a good draw. First Order is well-handicapped and the step back up in trip is no problem, Irish Music is consistent without actually getting his head in-front, whilst Almaty Express has had good opportunities recently but he has looked recalcitrant. Any market move for the course and distance winner Music Box Express would have to be taken seriously, whilst Radiator Rooney and Colombard join Commander Wish on a list of consistent if infrequent winners. At a price Charlie Delta could run well now back in trip, however it may be worth chancing Yanza in this open finale.
