There should be little to choose again here between Striker Torres and Just Timmy Marcus, but both may have to give best to BORASCO. David Barron's charge looks to have dropped to a very handy mark of just 65 here, and having twice won from higher pitches last year she has the ability for this. The trip looks to be her optimum, and although beaten in her last two starts in sellers and claimers she has run well, so we will side with her. Striker Torres received a 1lb from and finished a head in front of Just Timmy Marcus when the pair met recently over course and distance, and as they meet on the same terms it should again be tight, and both have claims. Obe Gold is another who is slipping to a mark from which he may be capable of winning. There are no issues with trip and Polytrack for him, so he is given plenty of respect. Haasem is 4lbs lower than his sole success. He has been off the track for 237 days, has Jimmy Quinn for assistance from the plate, but has to prove both fitness and his ability on this circuit. Golden Prospect looks best of the remainder but preference is for Borasco.
