Verdict

Magical Mile has a decent record at this level, merits topweight and should give things a good shout under Stevie Donohoe. Vocatus is respected but he's yet to win on the all-weather, although it's interesting to see him turned out having run just five days ago. Back From Dubai rattled up an impressive four-timer in January/February but has been well beaten the last twice off his revised mark and all his wins have arrived at Southwell. Course winner Makambe keeps threatening to put his head in front and should be there or thereabouts but we'll go with CALONNE (NAP) - a course and distance winner two starts back and a good fourth in an arguably better race last time.
