Verdict

A trappy opener in which all can have a perfectly decent case argued for their chance. Nothing, however, boasts standout claims and a degree of caution is advised but CAP ST VINCENT made an eye-catching debut for Fergal O'Brien when a close third here last month and can go a couple better. He travelled beautifully through that race and maybe just needed the run after a 341-day break. The normally consistent Ebony Gale needs to put a poor recent run behind him but looks high enough in the weights, whilst Brewers Project hasn't really got his act together over fences. Therefore Mellow Ben and Certainly Red are seen as the main threats, with the former just preferred of the pair.
