Verdict

Signal Point, the sole winner in the field, is respected as such but the overall level of her form suggests she's vulnerable, although better ground may aid her cause here. The latest run of Cool Stone was an improvement on two previous runner-up efforts and she's likely to be in the thick of things again. Alan King seems sure to find a race for her sooner rather than later. Sadie Hill has shown some ability but needs to progress, whereas MALAKAHNA (NAP) has acceptable Listed form in the book, will appreciate the return to ordinary novice hurdle company and receives 6lb and upwards all round thanks to the age allowance and Charlie Todd's claim.
