Acrion is hard to assess on the back of landing a modest Lingfield novice stakes but it was a decent enough effort on just a second career start. There ought to be more to come from the Meehan gelding but GENERAL SAGO is just preferred. The son of Fascinating Rock placed on eight of his nine starts for David O'Meara and will hopefully be ready to roll on debut for his new yard and on this first start since late August. That absence does temper confidence somewhat but he does look to set the form standard. The remaining trio appear to have plenty to find on the book and Lexington Bullet could prove best of the three.
