Verdict

Requisite was completely outclassed at Goodwood most recently in the Listed Starlit Stakes but back against more realistic opposition could play a part, but she looks opposable at the top of the weights. Defector was a narrow second at Kempton when last seen and the value of that form is a mixed bag, with a couple of the runners from that race going on to perform well (the fifth won recently) but plenty who have shown nothing since. The drop in trip isn't sure to suit Catherines Call as her better runs have come over seven furlongs but she has to be respected from this mark, whilst Rainy Night is still getting to terms with his highest rating in more than a year. Stratton Banker has been getting closer with each run but BUBBLY BELLINI gets the call. The pick has a good record on the all-weather and although he has disappointed in four Irish races since his last win here in June, a return to his favoured trip and Polytrack surface could get the Lee Smyth trained three-year-old back to winning ways.
