In depth

Verdict

A competitive finale to round off the card and Murrisk is the selection. His last outing on the flat yielded a victory when he made all to land a Listowel handicap and off a mark of 55, he will prove difficult to beat. Kansas Gold and Straight Face are likely to prove the biggest dangers to Murrisk. Dual course winner Kansas Gold has been out of sorts of late but if returning to anything like his old form he would have to come into the equation while Straight Face is likely to be suited by the additional furlong on offer here. Beck is another regular at this venue and has place claims while Tous Les Deux is worth keeping a close eye on for market support. Murrisk is the pick to land it.
