Rio Guru has been a disappointment since showing promise on her first couple of starts but looks to have been found an ideal opportunity to break her maiden tag. This is her first try at 12 furlongs and judging by the effort last time there is every reason to believe she will get the trip. Pure Song and Sibi Saba look the biggest dangers to the selection. Pure Song possibly found the slight ease in the ground against her at Pontefract and is better judged by her fourth in a Newbury maiden on her penultimate start. Sibi Saba finished a long way adrift of the easy winner Kossack last time and needs to step up from that effort. Stamina is not an issue where she is concerned. Lazeyma did not attract any support on debut which was on soft ground. This surface should suit her much better while blinkers are now applied to Stormy View who does not appear to have progressed as one would have hoped. Rio Guru is the selection to land it.
