In depth

Verdict

King's Wonder is taken to see off Meydan Dubai and Seventh Cavalry. The selection was quietly backed ahead of his recent outing at Kempton and he wasn't too far behind Minus Fifteen on that occasion. A repeat performance will suffice here. Meydan Dubai has been kept busy this term and has never been too far away. He did not show a lot on his sole all-weather start so the jury is out. Seventh Cavalry could not quicken at Thirsk. He'll need to learn how to in order to win. Storm Sir has a bit to find on the clock and seems to have gone backwards since running a fair Warwick run. Jolleyhockeysticks has gone 14 without success and seems fated to find a couple too good again. Not a strong race and we'll take King's Wonder to build upon a fair effort last week.
