Hot Bertie is our pick with Spic 'N Span and Edie Superstar the most plausible opposition. The selection reportedly does not have the best of forelegs but that didn't stop Peter Grayson putting in a bid for him post the Beverley seller he won and the time figure was fair. Spic 'N Span represents a yard that are returning to form. He hasn't been far away in recent weeks and this is his grade. Edie Superstar has an interesting jockey booking with Ryan Moore aboard. She has plenty of early toe and will attempt to make it count. Jalons Bridewell has regressed badly. Similar comments apply to the once 84 rated Nawaaff. Stoneacres Chris and Pat are noted in the market. Gower Belle drops back to five having struggled to get her head infront over further. Town And Gown has been tried in a variety of headgear and the cheekpieces will accompany this attempt. A moderate handicap and Hot Bertie is ventured to minimal stakes.
