Jake The Snake is our selection with Teasing and Cativo Cavallino sure to give him plenty to think about. The selection has won two of his three starts on artificial surfaces and ran a fair third to Methaaly on his most recent start. Potentially unexposed, he has less negatives than most. Teasing is interestingly put back in cheekpieces. She has ran well in them preciously and was not disgraced in claiming company last month. Cativo Cavallino is consistent enough. He has won four starts on the all-weather compared to just one on turf. Glencalvie ran a decent third behind Chjimes at this track in June so cannot be discounted too readily. Napoletano has had some tough tasks off top weight of late. My Learned Friend went up the ratings for two wins in the middle of the summer and has struggled. Wavertree Warrior can be forgiven a below par effort at York on heavy going and is still apparently well handicpped on older form. Princess Valerina has a poor draw. H Harrison can go well at a price. A wide open affair and Jake The Snake is our selection.
