Saving the best until last, this is a decent handicap that can go to bottom weight LOOK OFFICER, while Chalice Welcome and Ahmedy can chase him home. The selection has been in good form of late, culminating in a win over 1m 3f at Southwell last time. He appeared to have plenty in hand with that eased-down success and a 6lb rise does not look enough to prevent him from following-up. Chalice Welcome has gone up 3lbs for his Lingfield success last time and proved his stamina for this trip when scoring at the Surrey venue in December. He also acts well here and can go well, though this is more competitive and we will just oppose. Ahmedy has had a break since failing to ever get competitive at Doncaster in October. He preceded that with a course and distance win here from a mark 3lbs lower than today, and he is likely to get very competitive. Accompanist acts well enough here and has frame claims if running up to his best, while Prince Sabaah has been dropped a very handy 7lbs and has a course win to his name. He can also go well when fresh, so watch the market for clues with this rare Venetia Williams runner at the track, but we will stick with Look Officer.
