Verdict

A race as thin on quality as it is on entrants can be taken by TUSCAN KING, while Magic Spirit and Creevy are the most interesting of the others. The selection appears to have plenty in hand on both of them on a literal line through Glen Lass, who has beaten all three of them lately. While things do not always work out that way in practice, his advantage looks to be sufficient enough that he can win this and he looks good value at the likely odds. Magic Spirit has had just the two runs, so is open to a fair bit of improvement. She tries this surface for the first time and provided she acts on it she looks potential forecast material, although the drop in trip is a bit of a concern. Creevy has had plenty of chances to break her maiden now and while there is nothing wrong with her attitude, she is not blesed with ability and is not one to be supporting financially until we see more from her. Premium Charge looks the best of the other pair, but preference is for Tuscan King.
