A poor contest and one where MOONLIGHT SERENADE gets the nod, while Turf Time and Graceandgratitude are the most interesting in opposition. The last-named is prepared by Stuart Williams, so market support for her would probably be significant, especially with the stable being among the winners of late. The Royal Applause filly has only had four races to date, so improvement is entirely possible, and she has shown some promise. This is her first try on this slightly slower surface and she can go very well. Turf Time has made the frame twice on the Fibresand in recent weeks and is worth another try here after one previous abortive attempt. Stuart Williams will have a good idea as to how his runner will fare against this one, having seen his own Boogie Waltzer come home ahead of Jeremy Glover's charge last time. Exceed Power tries this venue for the first time, having run with credit in a string of defeats at Kempton, including over 7f last time. The drop in trip shouldn't be a problem and he is respected. Even so, preference is for Moonlight Serenade. The Mind Games filly is not the easiest of rides and can take a tug, so this drop back to around 6f looks a positive. She has acted well enough here in the past, and the application of cheek pieces for the first time might be just the ticket, so we will side with her.
